Karen H. Jobes, Ph.D.
Professor • Writer • Bible Translator

From 2005–2015 I held the Gerald F. Hawthorne Professor of New Testament and Exegesis at Wheaton College and Graduate School.

I taught Greek language courses in the department of Foreign Languages and courses in New Testament exegesis on the graduate faculty in the department of Biblical & Theological Studies.  My teaching career began in 1990 as an adjunct professor at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia.  The Septuagint has been a major focus of my research interests, especially as a literary and theological background for New Testament exegesis.  I am a fellow of the Institute for Biblical Research, a member of the Evangelical Theological Society, and the Society for Biblical Literature.
